If you ever have a chance to work with Nicole Ruark, you should run out immediately and seize it! Excellent is an understatement in describing her and her work, and I'm honored to be able to say that our relationship goes back 15 years. She has left a lasting impact on my life both as an artist and as a person. She is solely responsible for awakening in me a passion for Musical Theatre, and cultivating in me a depth of performance that I still draw upon today. Her teaching, and the environment she cultivated in her classes, helped me to step out boldly and courageously as a performer and as a person, leaving behind my formerly shy self and helping to lay a foundation of confidence. It was her tutelage and belief in me that led directly to my auditioning for and attending Broadway Theatre Project in 2008.
